Alright.. I had been away from “home” (i.e. Canada) for too long and I wanted to do a roadtrip down south (to the US) during the last fall, but it unfortunately it never happened.
There were a few “must see” and “must do’s” on my dream list that was itching to be checked off.
I went in the beginning of September 2008 to enjoy the still semi-warm climate and snow free roads. Remember Sept/Oct is going into fall, which meant WONDERFUL colours on the decidious trees that time of the year!
If you are curious on the itinerary then have a look below or on the map to the left, where a rough route is mapped out, all to grab as much of the juicy stuff out of the nine states and two provinces, 30+ national/state parks, monuments, forests and recreational areas worth having a look at.
Memories of visiting thirty plus (30+!!) national parks, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and to end up in Vancouver:
PRICELESS!!!!
(For everything else, remember, there is MasterCard) ;))
