Dear Reader / Human Resources,
As a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Environmental Science, I am looking for the next step to grow from my previous employments.

I am a self-motivated individual with extensive leadership experience that encompasses many different fields (supervisor, manager roles, outdoor recreation leader/guide as well as military). I enjoy when things are happening around me at a rapid pace and I thrive on learning new things.

My curriculum contains both marine and terrestrial conservation and resource management strategies, environmental impact assessments and fieldwork. I have volunteered on several projects that contained field data gathering and sampling. I am currently attending post-secondary education at Camosun College to obtain more specialized training within areas such as global information system (GIS), reclamation and remediation or disturbed areas such as natural gas / oilfields and mines and will graduate with a Diploma in Environmental Technology.

For many years, I have been developing dreams, transforming them to goals, and realizing them with a great success rate. Coming to Canada and having the opportunity to work and live here is one of my most significant goals.

With my background and my life- and work experience I make a perfect candidate for any position within environmental, biological and natural sciences and/or any position where leadership, responsibility and organization are all integral parts.

Please note that I have attached my résumé below. Do not hesitate to ask for additional information.

Thanks for taking the time to consider me as a future employee. I would be honored and very happy to schedule an interview for this position at your earliest convenience.

Yours sincerely,

Stefan Martensson

The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don’t define them, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them.

I love nature and being active outdoors, living the lifestyle and trying to fill life with as much fun, excitement and adventures as I can, while I can. This is the reason I want to work within environmental science, so I could hopefully make a difference.

In my spare time I do anything from reading books, especially about personal development and leadership, being outdoors, skiing, hiking, and 4WD:ing or just simply relax in front of a fire and share a beer or a bottle of wine with friends.

For more information about me, feel free to browse my personal website: – An Adventurous Life Documented, with more than 500 movie clips and 15.000 pictures from around the world.
