Stefan Martensson was born in 1978 in Helsingborg, during his first 20 years he bedded a solid ground to build his future upon.
His very nature as a person is curious and have a great appetite for knowledge for how things work and relate to each other.
His leadership is very evident, both in nature leading people and on the battlefield while previous serving in the Swedish Armed Special Forces.

Work Experience
He is a graduate with limited work experience. However, several courses in his degree had some practical parts where planning, testing and analyzing were integral parts of the courses. He also volunteered many times to gain work experience within different fields like crocodile, shark and nautilus research, ecotourism & wildlife tourism management, transect set-up, setting up feeding stations and making other types of field data gathering.

Education
He started his academic education in 1999 in Townsville , Australia at James Cook University ( www.jcu.edu.au ) a leading university within studied fields.
He aimed for a marine biology strand; however, his interests changed during his academic career and found environmental and zoological sciences more interesting. He found that the management & conservation issues regarding a combination of the tourism industry and nature appealed to him the most, including endangered species management, wildlife ecology and tourism management. Especially due to the professionalism from his lecturers, one even elected as Senior Advisor for the I.U.C.N. He graduated 6months earlier (finished on five semesters instead of the normal six) to be able to further his education in Canada .
He started his certificate within Mountain Skills (Adventure Tourism) at College of the Rockies ( www.cotr.bc.ca ) in August 2001. This to gain a greater understanding how the tourism industry worked and how it perceived the environment the industry feeds on.

After years of travelling and working within other fields and getting to a point where he realized that with the economic downturn in the world, he needed to be even better than his competition so he went back to do a Diploma in Environmental Biotechnology at Camosun College in Victoria, BC.

Recent Years
During the last year he has worked as a security officer, with cash handling transport as his specialty, at Securitas (www.securitasinc.com). Combining this with being self employed within the Wellness Industry. Tried work as a salesman for chemicals and beauty products. Most recently, after working with fruits and vegetables for ICA in Sweden, he left for a Working Holiday in Canada for one year.
