Washington State Road Trip – Completed

It’s been a while, it’s also been ridiculously busy.

Last Thursday it was Remembrance Day. The Friday was a perfect opportunity to take of to make it a long weekend.

Cat and I, decided early to not only celebrate the fallen soldiers, but also our 18months anniversary by going for a trip to the mainland. Read the rest of this entry »

Hockey almost over for the season..

10 games, 6goals, 5assist, 3penalty minutes and finish up as the top goalscorer and the top player with most points for the Spring league in our team. As you guys perhaps already know, I played for The Islanders and I had a blast getting to know the guys, and hopefully I’ll find a spot for the fall! As a team, we didn’t do too well.. 2 wins, 9 losses which made us the worst team in the series…  🙂 Read the rest of this entry »

Face-lift initiated…

Hey guys,

Ok, so the second semester is officially over and I finally got some time to slow down and not do anything. So to keep me busy, I created a new theme for the website from scratch and I am still working on to get some more flash into the site for cooler presentations of pictures and movies.

Face-lift on S-MART.SE

Hey friends!

After this semester is done, it’s time for a face lift on the website…

I want some input…  what would you like to see? What colours, what features, what layout, what contents?

I think we are closing in on the half-way mark of the first semester and I guess I am doing ok. I was hoping to be doing a bit better, but being away from the academic world now for almost eight years tends to make you forget things you haven’t used for a while.

More on the subject Camosun….

Greetings,

Well, today after getting the unfortunate news that I wouldn’t fit in GEOG214 and GEOG220 I was ready to throw in the towel. I was thinking, perhaps work for a semester, then come back or even work for a year then do it…  Even hear with Medicine Hat College if they still had openings and so on…

I feel ill-treated for people being square in their ways and not looking at the possibilities. Especially when I had told them what to do to sort things out MONTHS ago, and we’re doing it now as I told them to do it then, the difference being some classes are full already… (NOT irritated at the situation, AT ALL!! As you can imagine!)  Grrrrr.. Read the rest of this entry »
